Bluedot introduces its first NXT-based audio product

19 Jun 2009

NXT plc, a provider of unique sound solutions, best known for its flat panel loudspeaker technology, is pleased to confirm the launch of the Bluedot BSP-S20K NXT-equipped stereo speaker in Japan.

At 19mm thin, the BSP-S20K is an ultra-slim travel loudspeaker that is as versatile as it is simple, being stripped of all but the flat NXT speaker panel (powered by an integrated 2x2W amplifier) and a fold-out stand.  The travel speaker’s dual NXT actuators deliver an immersive stereo sound from a single flat panel, filling the room with a rich performance normally associated with much larger speakers.  The BSP-S20K’s table-stand folds over to protect the NXT panel when the product is not in use, making this the perfect travel companion for music lovers on the move.

Powered by 3 x AAA batteries for up to five hours playback, the BSP-S20K’s compact form factor belies its big sound courtesy of NXT’s award-winning SurfaceSound technology.Compatible with any audio source with a 3.5mm connection, the BSP-S20K’s uncompromising audio quality – in spite of its portability - makes it suitable for both travelling and home use.

The use of NXT technology allows for the ultra-slim design of the BSP-S20K

Finished in classic matte black, BSP-S20K is the first Bluedot product to employ NXT’s SurfaceSound technology and is available now from selected retailers across Japan priced at approximately ¥4000.
